Finally not a full 3D movie made using computer-generated animation coming from Pixar or Dreamworks…but a magic, two-dimensional unique story : “ Song of the Sea “.

Hand-drawn movies for children seems like a dying art form, so I was glad to take my boys to see this new Irish film.  “ Song of the Sea “ is directed by Tomm Moore and produced by the Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon. It’s easy to forget how water-coloured backgrounds in 2d animations, give the  depth and perspective into the images you look at. The film will take you into an old-school legend story telling. I will not tell you more about what the story is exacly about…I will just say : It's an unique movie, with a beautiful personalities and touching story.
Don’t miss it.
