Visse Vasse - visual stories

Are you looking for inspiration to create a gallery wall at your home ? 

Well, I just discovered VisseVasse - visual stories website and I really like it. 

As you know me, I like products which will look great in kids’ rooms the same way they can be exposed in our living room. VisseVasse -  ring the bell! This Danish company was founded by Dorthe Mathiesen and Karsten Noel. They both have worked for the past 20 years in the field of fashion, production design and graphic design. In 2013 they launched Langebro the first city poster. With its references to 1930s poster artists and the mint/turquoise colours of the era, it set the tone for the upcoming collection of posters featuring landmarks from Danish and European cities…..can you find yours?  Please read all the story of the company here. My favourites are exclusive collaboration with photographers Vee Speers (Australia) and Dan Isaac Wallin . Only not sure if my boys would like them in their room, through…..

It all started with a boy’s room with a lot of green. Remember this post : green-in-childrens-rooms ?  I have discovered Maaike Koster’s work then and started to follow her artistic journey. Her instagram account is so beautifully calm, clean and just perfect to me. I don’t know how she does it with two small kids around, but still.…

Few days ago I discovered Maaike Koster’s new collection of posters with theme DOG…

and they are so cool ! Maaike stays with her monochrome style and twist of humour and simplicity. Well done!

Texture collages and posters

I notice this geometric collages in 3 different places last week. I put them in one composition for you. Maybe it is some trend in the graphic world ( ? ) or I just really like it and see it  ;-) This graphic you can see at new catalog of Danish brand FermLiving .  Rum magazine - which I got last week from a Danish friend  ( fantastic !) is also using it and last posters are from Kristina Krogh , founded at Ellensalbum blog. 

I feel like cutting paper with different textures and do something nice…. ;-)
