I was thinking that instagram, is definitely not a place for me. ( Instagram is an application on iPhone which makes a nice photo's for you ;-) and there is a big community of people who like to use it. You can comment and follow people you like ;-) I'm introvert person who doesn't like to show much about private life to the public, but slowly I started to get used to instagram, and look at other designers, stylists, photographers or bloggers, daily photo's and I found so much beauty and inspiration! I started to try to capture some moments of my life and I like it! This weekend I was visiting the Object Rotterdam , had some times with my family…and a very good coffee for myself ;-) I wish you a good week.
I have to admit, I have not had the chance to try it, but I would love to. I was always for more graphic and colors if I were to choose the bed linen for us, but I see I'm attracted more and more by texture and softness. I would like to see more linen fabric with prints on it. I think the grey tones carry beautifully other stronger print colors.
Fruity, energetic and ready to 'eat' = new collection of Bobo Choses arrived.
Bobo Choses is not only brand for cool children clothes! They also have great home accessories for childrenrooms. I have a crash on the lemon pillow with green stripes. For the ones who don't know the brand: it is a Spanish company, created in 2008 by two ladies: Laia Aguilar and Adriana Esperalba. Since then, they have grown and are presented in renowned shops across over 30 countries! Mainly in Japan, France and US. I'm not surprised about it and I think this sunny and energetic new collection, will be welcomed well this summer ;-)
Do you like the idea of screen-printing on plywood? Looks like Studio delle Alpi does like it a lot!
It is a young design studio found in February 2012 by Anne Kieffer, product designer and Arnaud Mouriamé, graphic designer. Their idea is to manufacture furniture and toys in small quantities and collaborate with local craftsmenship to ensure the best quality with an accessible price. ( I didn't find on the website where they are producing it - it only says Europe - that is a big country ;-)
Every piece is unique, colorful and made with passion.
kidsroomZOOM! which is a curator of the exhibition shows a very careful selection of the most interesting brands and projects related to the kids world. I was very happy to be invited and take a part of it.
I like very much the contrast between the linen and wool, the rawness of one material and the perfect delicate line of other. Bonnet puffe are made for Casillas by Liset van der Scheer. Linen former military bags which can be used for storing duvets, pillows, stuffed animals…. style&photograph by ledansla found at lereperedesbelettes.
