SISSY+MARLEY is a New York City-based boutique baby planner, run by passionate mums who would like to help other mums. For their blog they prepare this great collages. I like modern simplicity and elegant look of it, even though I'm totally not a glamour girl ;-) I have to admit I peek at fashion cat walks sometimes because there is plenty inspiration of colors and shapes which echoes in interior trends . My boys room

Since I got this beautiful rug from House of Rym as a present, I knew there was time to work on our boys room. They are 2,5 and 6 years old. I repainted their green room to get a bit more calm atmosphere. So now it is a gray room with a bit of turquoise colors. I did the horizontal strip on the wall inspired my Miro when my older son was 3 and I think I will repaint it soon too. 

The bunk bed which we designed for them, is still looking so great and safes a lot of space. The only problem is, that it is only 150cm long so after summer, we will have to place a bigger bed for them. The room got some nice simple shelves and it's just looking more clean and organize. Like you see, my son feels so comfortable in his small but very practical space. If you wonder where my boys have desk or table to work ....well they have they place next to our desks in our library/working space....maybe next time I can show you that.

Inspiration for a modern boy's room. 

The beautiful rug is from House of Rym. I'm a  happy owner of one! I got it in a giveaway and will show you soon how he looks in our boys room. Baltazar cuddly looks like a great friend for a toddler, it is from LuckyboySunday. I got the Muuto blue lamp and a fantastic R letter poster from Playtype! Do you like the geometric wall hooks? They are designed by Oscar Diaz and evalible at molly-meg. It is a great place to look for some items for children's rooms.  Geometric hangers are from Ferm living and pillow with a shark from HK Living. R toddler bed from Rafa-kids. 

Inspiration for a modern girl room -  yellow with pink! 

Do you like the combination of this two colors ? I do not like pastel pink tones but with a bit of neon pink, its getting  so fresh. Butterflies wall stickers are from Ferm living. Great lemon rug and a  "Fish&chips" pillow from BoboChoses. Accessories also from Ferm Living and sad pillow LuckyboySunday and  yellow Muuto lamp. I hope you like my modern ideas for kid's room! 

Tent at home for children

Do your children like to hide? My boys love place under the table! 

It is still very cold here, so there is no chance to put a tent outside, or to make one in the forest during the weekend… I thought it will be nice to show you, some cosy tents which we can make at home for our kids. 

  The first tent is made from a stick and a simple pice of fabrics + the matters + some pillows and that's all . 

We are ready to play!

House of Rebecca and Feestrijk

I spotted this charming and warm house of Rebecca, Kees & Siem in March issue of vtwonnen magazine. Feestrijk online shop run by Rebbeca has the same colorful and inviting atmosphere. 

Together with her mother, she collects vintage furniture, accessories and toys at flea markets. She also produces herself some of the hand made products for her store. The room of her son Siem, has a very special selected finds. I really like the mix of modern design and vintage, with a touch of fresh colors of her pillows and plaids. Yellow in kids' room

Yellow is one of my favorite color at the moment. 

It would be difficult for me to dress up in yellow, but to add a bit of this color to a room could work very well for me. I really like all of this children's room with one accent in yellow.  It give to a space such a positive energy, don't you think ? Painting an old chair or coffer it is not so much work and gives a quick effect into the interior.

Greenery at home

Since a few weeks I'm totally obsessed in getting some big and nice plant to our small house ;-) 

Maybe because it is so cold outside and I wish the Spring will be finally here! 

When I saw this apartment and article about greenery in the last Rum issue, I was just blown away. I can't read any Danish so I can only tell you it is a house of artist Antonino Sciortino  living in  Milano.  Photos are made by Serge Anton. I would gladly took not only some of his plants to my home that's for sure! The hight of this apartment is simply incredible and 450 m2 , can you imagine ? The raw concrete floor with beautiful furniture and the Greenery !….It's so perfect to me ;-) 

I wish you a nice week end…and I hope I will find a perfect new plant to my house too!
