get inspired with Rafa-kids
We are so exited to work with stylist/photographer Paulina Arcklin and prepare this inspiring child’s room with Rafa-kids’ furniture. We thought it’s good to go out of our comfort zone and imagine a room of a child with accessories not particularly dedicated to children’s deco.
We are definitely inspired by blue colours and textures this season. Never have enough of denim/jeans and linen bedding in tones of grey and blue. We like industrial, raw touch in the room and XXL Lego boxes are a perfect pieces for storing all treasures. Did you know, that you can get a couple of car tyres in your local garage for free? at least we did. Paulina had an idea to use them to expose soft toys on the wall or on the floor, and they give such a character to this space. At the end the Rafa-kids R toddler bed with wheels as a part of this cool room.
We hope you like it as much as we do!
Special thanks to Paulina Arcklin for this inspiring day
and knuffelsalacarte store for bringing us plushies for the photo shoot.

storage for kids by restorationhardware
It's not new that I'm a big fun of restorationhardware collection for kids.
A bit strange you will say, since I like modern simplicity and scandinavian furniture the most. I have a weakness for industrial furniture too, so it's all a bit of mix, anyway.
This simple ideas for storage, are worth showing, I think.
Restorationhardware is a company based in US , so we can just look at their good work, and get inspired. Rafa-kids is also working on new collection and storage is actually an issue we deal with at the moment too. Wait till Spring for more! Thursday, 23 August 2012
moodboard - drive
Today inspired by raw materials and black shiny cars.
In the mood for having a ride into some cool boy's room.
Industrial style with black colors is always getting my attention.
Special finds: furniture, posters, factory accessories,
are all great elements to make a stylish boy's room.
If you find it a bit to strong with all the dark elements
then natural wood furniture, boxes and orange tones of textile, will add good touch to it.
What do you think?
