Do you still follow many blogs ? I have only few very favourite ones. From time to time I discover a new blog and just dive into it. It happened to me with Blog - Emsloo. A magic countryside house in Sweden, with two kids playing around and talented mom capturing their every day life.This calm atmosphere is what I need from time to time, especially now actually in this hectic period. Many of you are probably also busy with festive season’s preparations so I will not take a lot of your precious time….

Monday inspiration - storage baskets in children’s rooms

Toys, blocks, clothes, hats, you know what I would like to talk about…. They are all-around our children’s rooms. But there is hope! We can find something simple and stylish at the same time. Here they are, baskets which will store all your things simple and clean. I have a real weakness for them and I unfortunately use them in every corner of our home (upsssss ) corridor, bathroom, children’s room and bedroom. As I believe that you cannot have enough of storage baskets, right?  They not only help to organise but are a treat to look at too. On the market you can find so many different ones and made from variety of materials fitting your home style. 

Few of my favourite brands offer baskets ; Bloomingville , Olliella, Tellkiddo or FermLiving.   

And with the festive season and more toys coming on the way….

I’m afraid we will need even more of them.

Sloane’s modern room

Today I would like to invite you to discover a little girl’s room in Utah, US. Her name is Sloane and she turned 4 few months ago. Her mom’s name is Becky Kimball , happy mama of tree, lifestyle photographer and an occasional blogger. As you can see , she has an aye for a sleek modern furniture designs. Rafa-kids F bunk bed took a central role in the space with very cool accessories and smaller furniture around.  A perfect contemporary clean look of a child’a space! We really like the contrasting green rug, different textures and colours together. If you have a smaller room and limited space a loft bed will create an extra space underneath to play. We are so happy to see this little brave girl climbing her new bed and taking the adventure to sleep so high. That’s so cool, isn’t it? 

We are glad to see this modern room featured in the Littlepeanutmagazine winter issue. 

Cosy winter with Rafa-kids

Few weeks ago I was dancing from happiness in our Rafa-kids studio. We received a special delivery of NEW bench samples in all 4 different wood finishes. It was such an exciting moment!  Not only because we could see for the first time all the colours and how the benches look like, but there was also time for new pictures. 

White B bench was the first one. I imagined a cosy room, with Rafa-kids A teen bed, B bench and L shelf styled with beautiful textures of wool, felt and linen….Colours I like the most at the moment and which are so perfect for Winter season are : Blue, Grey and White. As our L shelf has a metal rod to hang favourite garments, I realised I needed some  beautiful pieces to display for the photo session. Happily we have in Rotterdam the great kids store BonBononTheBlock, where you can always find the coolest, trendy clothes.  Thank you! 

I’m so glad we managed to capture this calm, cosy mood. Just looking at it makes me so relaxed and I can simply take it all to our home for boys. The white furniture, walls and floor give such a great base for a room and to create your own individual world. I hope you also like this wonderful Grizzly carpet and baskets, which are all hand made made in Nepal, and part of Rafa-kids collection from now on.

Clouds and Raindrops decoration for children's room

Let’s start the weekend in dreamy , cosy and sleepy mood….

Don’t you think that Clouds, Moon and the Raindrops are such perfect elements to decorate child’s room ?  I recently discovered, that the Danish brand Fabelab known for beautiful high quality textile products, have created in collaboration with Chispum from Spain, dreamy wall stickers. Clouds with raindrops in blue and pink. They are made with the special watercolour print designed by Anna Thomsen from Trekant Design. What do you think about the simple decoration of Moon and stars by CamCam brand from Copenhagen ? Or just a large raindrops catered from paper and hang next to the child’s bed? I’m so glad to see such a simple, calm products for the little ones. …

I can’t believe it is already a week since last post on the blog. 

Where is this time going and why does it pass so quickly ? I actually can’t believe we will have December in a moment and the year will end so soon. I’m not ready….

If you follow my blog for a longer time, you’ve probably noticed I like to find nice things on the internet and share it here.  Unfortunately since last months  or even year or two I don’t have much time to do it any more. I thought that today I will make a little change. I would like to show you few little design objects which recently caught my attention and made me smile. Groovy Magnets & Rafa-kids

Did you like our  “ Let’s walk into the forest…..” blog post ? 

Well , we have much more for you today. 3 years ago I had a chance to discover a very nice brand from Belgium called Groovy Magnets. At my last visit in Amsterdam I told you about it here, I came across their products again and thought to do something together. Rafa-kids absolutely loves to collaborate with other creatives, so we asked if we could use their playful products in our up coming project. 

So here you are! 

Simple idea with a great and fast effect - magnetic wallpaper, magnetic wall stickers, posters and magnets. You select a wall sticker and magnets -  put it on the wall ( no glue needed) and you can start to play together with your child. I’m sure you will have lots of fun! We have a problem which animal on the magnetic sticker to choose - Owl, Rabbit or maybe the Giraffe ?  The graphics is so cool and the quality is very good. It is not a sponsor post, believe me. I’m just exited.  I always appreciate not only the way the product is made, but how it is packed and Groovy Magnets - get’s my 10 ! Well done.
